News & Announcements
Moon Area School District is proud of the impact and positive influence our graduates have on people around the world. In addition, the district is fortunate to have had many dedicated faculty, staff and volunteers who have made a positive impact on students and our schools.
Allard Elementary welcomed students from Brooks Elementary for a successful Transition Day, designed to help ease the shift for students who will be attending Allard in the upcoming school year. The event provided opportunities for students to get familiar with the school, meet new classmates, and engage in fun, community-building activities.
It’s that time of year again -- when we as a district are looking ahead to Homecoming next year!
The Moon School District Annual Homecoming Carnival will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025 in the upper parking lot following the parade.
If you are a local business and you are interested in participating, please fill out the form at the link below. All booths must be approved by Administration and any ideas are not considered “yours” until you receive confirmation back.
As we approach the end of the year, we want to make sure that families have important information regarding the last day of school and graduation.
Brooks Elementary and McCormick Elementary students came together for a memorable and exciting Transition Day, marked by smiles, laughter, and the beginning of new friendships.
The seconds graders in Ms. Kephart's class are now published authors! The class worked together to write and publish their very own book, with students even having the chance to order personal copies.
Each student wrote about themselves in third person and collaborated through every step of the writing process, learning firsthand what it takes to bring a book to life.
Congratulations to Ms. Kephart’s class for this exciting accomplishment!
