Welcome to J.H. Brooks Elementary School in the Moon Area School District!

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to welcome you to J.H. Brooks Elementary School.  As we begin a new academic year, we remain committed to creating a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment for all students.  We set high expectations for both staff and students, and we believe that through strong partnerships and consistent effort, our school community will continue to thrive.

This year marks a transition for many families as students from Hyde Elementary will now be attending Brooks Elementary.  We recognize this change and are fully committed to ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all students and families.  Our focus remains on providing high-quality instruction and maintaining a school culture rooted in respect, responsibility, and academic growth.

Regular school attendance is a key factor in student success.  We ask for your support in ensuring that your child attends school each day, ready to learn.  Consistent attendance allows students to stay engaged, keep pace with instruction, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.

We also believe that communication between families and teachers is essential.  We encourage parents and guardians to maintain regular contact with their child’s teacher and to stay informed about classroom activities, academic progress, and school events.
